Omaha, Neb. -- Powered by 22 points off turnovers and a late push in overtime from Ty-Shon Alexander, the Creighton men's basketball team defeated Providence 76-70 in overtime on Wednesday, March 6.
The victory moved the Bluejays to 17-13 on the season and 8-9 in BIG EAST play, while Providence fell to 16-14 overall and 6-11 in conference action.
Creighton closes out the regular season on Saturday, March 9 as the Bluejays host DePaul at 7:00 pm in the CHI Health Center. Following the game seniors Connor Casham and Caleb Joseph will be honored on the home floor for the final time.
