OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's basketball team moved to 19th in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll, dropping four spots from last week's No. 15 position.
Creighton's 19 straight weeks in the rankings extends the program record. The Bluejays remain one of seven schools that have been ranked each of the past 19 AP polls (since Feb. 3, 2020), joining Baylor, Gonzaga, Houston, Iowa, Tennessee and Villanova. Kansas dropped out of this week's poll for the first time since January of 2009 after a record 231 straight weeks.
Creighton's move in the poll follows a 1-1 week that saw the Bluejays lose to Georgetown on Wednesday before rebounding with a 71-68 victory at Marquette on Saturday.
