Men's Basketball Falls at Marquette, 85-81

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Marquette made 10-of-12 three-point shots in the second half to overcome an 11-point deficit to defeat Creighton 85-81 in the final college game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The loss drops the Bluejays to 21-10 overall and a 10-8 league mark. The Bluejays will tie for third place in the BIG EAST Conference for the second straight season.

Marquette improved to 18-12 and 9-9 in league play, getting a much-needed win for its NCAA Tournament prospects.

Creighton took a 42-37 lead into the intermission in a half that starred Bluejay junior Khyri Thomas.
