CHICAGO, Ill. - - The Creighton men's basketball team secured its 23rd season of 20 or more wins in the last 25 years with a 84-70 road victory at DePaul on Saturday, March 4, to close the regular-season.
With the win, Creighton (20-11, 14-6 BIG EAST) secured the third sed in next week's BIG EAST Tournament presented by JEEP and will face the winner of Wednesday's Georgetown/Villanova match-up on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Central on FS1.
In a fast-paced first half, Creighton took an early lead with a 9-0 run as it held the Blue Demons scoreless for over five minutes to go up 11-5.
