TEMPE, Ariz -- The Creighton men's and women's tennis teams each earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team awards, while seven Bluejay men and three CU women were honored individually, the ITA announced on Tuesday, July 25.
The Bluejay men's tennis team wrapped up the 2016-17 academic year with a 3.71 team GPA. The men were also recognized earlier in July by the BIG EAST Conference with a 2016-17 Team Academic Excellence Award. Individually, Armando Gandini, Brooks Kendall, Michael Koch, Daniel Lopez-Rey, Aaron Chalstrom, Jake Glazer and Harrison Lang earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
