Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton infielders Alan Roden and Andrew Meggs have each been recognized by D1 Baseball as a member of the Top-50 players at their respective positions.
Despite moving to the position this fall, Roden was ranked as the 8th rated first baseman in the NCAA. Meggs, meanwhile, was rated as the 33rd second baseman.
The 2021 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, Roden closed 2021 hitting .378 with nine home runs, 17 doubles and 47 RBI in 39 games. Creighton's DH early in the season, the Wisconsin native moved into the outfield for latter portion of 2021.
