OVERLAND PARK, Kan.- The Creighton Men's Golf team finished 10th at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The tournament was held at Milburn Country Club, a 7,054-yard par-72 course.
Creighton finished with a team score of 915 (299-301-315), three strokes ahead of both Nebraska-Omaha and Northern Iowa in the 12-team meet.
Grand Canyon finished first with a team score of 871 (285-287-299). UMKC finished second with a team score of 877 (282-292-303). While South Dakota finished one stroke behind UMKC for third, with a score of 878 (288-289-301).
Vinnie Murphy of Grand Canyon finished first overall with a score of 211 (71-70-70) Second place went to Matt Tolan of South Dakota with a score of 214 (69-69-76).
