OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women's tennis junior Malvika Shukla has been named the BIG EAST Female Singles Player of the Week for the second time this spring, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Shukla led the Bluejays with a pair of victories at the top singles position as Creighton split a pair of BIG EAST conference matches against Georgetown and DePaul last week.
Shukla holds an unblemished 10-0 record and has now won 13 straight singles matches, dating back to the fall season, while helping to Creighton to an 8-2 overall record this spring.
