OMAHA, Neb. – For the third time this season, junior Malvika Shukla (Mumbai, India) has earned BIG EAST Female Singles Player of the Week, while Shukla and graduate transfer Leanne Kendall were named BIG EAST Female Doubles Team of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Shukla has now earned three BIG EAST Single Player of the Week honors and two BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week honors in her career, while owning a team-best 13-1 record in singles play this spring. This is Kendall's second BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week award, also earned the accolade on Feb.
