DES MOINES, Iowa -- Daniel Lopez-Rey and Jose Oscar Diaz combined to claim the Flight C Doubles championship as the Creighton men's tennis ended its stay at the Drake Invitational on Sunday morning.
Only the doubles draws of the invitational were completed because of rain throughout central Iowa region on Saturday and Sunday.
Lopez-Rey and Diaz went 2-0 to complete the clean sweep of the Flight C bracket after their opening round victory on Friday.
Luke Moorhead and Joe Huff also combined to finish without a loss in Flight D and went 2-0 on Sunday, but the draw broke apart in order to get more play after multiple injury defaults.
