Lightning and Rain Suspend Second Game in Sixth, Bluejays hold 9-0 Lead

Bethesda, Md. -- Lightning and rain forced the suspension of the second game of Friday's doubleheader with Georgetown. When play resumes on Saturday, the Bluejays will be at the plate in the top of the sixth inning, leading 9-0.

The game cannot begin until at least 2:00 pm (CT) as Georgetown is in Finals. Once play resumes the two teams must compete the second game of the series, then will play the third game.

Creighton jumped out early on the BIG EAST reigning pitcher of the Week, Georgetown's Nick Morreale, scoring a pair of runs after the first two were retired.
