HARDEEVILLE, S.C. -- Powered by Katherine Lemke's school and BIG EAST Championship record round of 67, the Creighton women's golf team shot a program-record score of 291 to surge from fifth and into a tie for second place during the second round of the 2023 BIG EAST Women's Golf Championships, Presented by JEEP.
Creighton shaved 27 shots off its first round score as weather conditions improved on Tuesday as the wind subsided. Four different Bluejays fired a round of 76 or better and improved their score by 10 shots or more. CU's 291 was one shot better than its previous best round ever done in the fall of 2021 and matched against last fall.
