ELKHORN, Neb. -- Freshman Katherine Lemke finished second to lead the Creighton women's golf team to a fourth-place finish at Stampede at the Creek on Tuesday, April 12. The eight-team tournament was competed at The Club at Indian Creek in the Omaha suburb of Elkhorn, Neb.
Lemke led all players with a first round 70 and entered Tuesday's final round two shots off the lead after an even-par 144 through 36 holes. The freshman battled back from a three-shot deficit early in the final round to claim a one-shot lead with three holes to play.
