ELKHORN, Neb. -- The Creighton Women's Golf team will take momentum into next week's BIG EAST Championship following a victory at the Stampede at the Creek on Tuesday, April 11. Bluejay sophomore Katherine Lemke took home medalist honors for the third time in her career with a one-shot win to help lead the Bluejays to a two-shot triumph overall.
Lemke used birdies on 12, 13 and 14 to overtake teammate Eleanor Hudepohl and surge into the lead on the back nine. She fired rounds of 73, 72 and 74 to pick up her first victory since taking home medalist honors at last year's BIG EAST Championship.
