NEWARK, N.J. -- Martin Krampelj had a career-high 23 points, but it wasn't enough as No. 23 Seton Hall scored the game's final seven points to post a 90-84 win over No. 25 Creighton on Thursday in the BIG EAST opener for both teams.
The Pirates are now 12-2 (1-0 BIG EAST), whlie Creighton had its five-game win streak snapped to fall to 10-3 (0-1 BIG EAST).
The Bluejays took an early 11-6 lead thanks to a 7-0 run by Martin Krampelj that put CU in front. Seton Hall fought back to tie the score at 15-all before a 13-5 Bluejay run saw the visitors build a 28-20 and prompt a Seton Hall timeout.
