OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Volleyball's Keeley Davis has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for the fifth straight time after leading the Bluejays with 19 kills and four aces in 3-0 sweeps at St. John's and at Seton Hall last weekend.
Davis averaged 4.00 points, 3.17 kills, 1.17 digs, 0.67 aces and 0.33 blocks per set in the victories.
She opened her week with 10 kills, three digs, two blocks an an ace in a 3-0 win at St. John's. Five of her kills came in the final set of the victory as she became the first player in program history with double-digit kills in 10 of her first 13 matches.
