OMAHA, Neb. – Thanks to a late goal from junior Lara Kazandjian, the Creighton women's soccer team collected a 2-1 victory over Colorado College on Friday, Sept. 9.
The win lifted the Bluejays to 4-0-3 on the season, tying the 2014 squad for the longest unbeaten streak to start a season in school history. With the win, the Bluejays also moved to 6-1-1 in Socctoberfest match. Colorado College fell to 3-3-1 overall with the loss.
Creighton dominated possession during the early moments of the opening half, taking a 1-0 advantage in the 13th minute of play.
