MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Senior Jordy Rothwell and junior Lara Kazandjian each delivered a goal to lift the Creighton women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Marquette for their first BIG EAST victory of the season on Thursday, Sept. 29.
The win moved the Bluejays to 5-2-4 on the season and 1-2-0 in BIG EAST play, while Marquette fell to 6-4-1 overall and 2-1-0 in league play.
Junior Lara Kazandjian tallied her second goal of the season during the 22nd minute of Thursday's match. Senior Juelle Love sent the play into motion with a looping pass across the box to sophomore Hannah Luke.
