OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Volleyball's Kari Zumach has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for the second time in the last 15 days.
Zumach helped Creighton to a 2-0 weekend, hitting a team-high .480 and averaging 3.25 points, 2.50 kills, 1.33 blocks and 0.67 digs per set in victories at St. John's and Seton Hall.
The Buffalo, Minn., native hit .385 on Friday in a sweep at third-place St. John's, recording seven kills, two digs and a career-high six blocks. The win clinched a top-two seed at the BIG EAST Championship for the Bluejays.
