With a 77-60 win against Seton Hall on Saturday, Creighton men’s basketball secured the No. 1 seed in next week’s Big East Tournament and a share of its first ever Big East regular season title.
Seton Hall went on an 8-0 run to take a 50-47 lead with nine and a half minutes remaining in the game. Creighton would outscore the Pirates 30-10 the rest of the game, shooting 12-of-13 from the field and 5-of-6 from 3-point range in the same time period.
Sophomore guard Marcus Zegarowski led the way for the Jays, scoring 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting, hitting all five threes he attempted.
