New York, N.Y. -- For the third time during the 2019 season, Creighton junior Jake Holton has collected the BIG EAST Baseball Player of the week, doing so on Monday, April 15. Holton led the Jays to a 3-1 week, including take their first BIG EAST series on the road. Holton batted .462 (6-for-13) for the week, including .400 (4-for-10) in league action. He totaled four RBI, four walks and earned first base three times after being hit by a pitch.
Houlton and the Bluejays have a short week to prepare for another road trip as Creighton faces Seton Hall in a three-game road series, beginning Thursday at noon.
