DES MOINES, Iowa -- Ashley Ishimura and Erin Epperson claimed the Doubles Flight A Championship during the Creighton women's tennis team's final day at the Drake Invitational at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
Ishimura and Epperson trailed Augustana's Korneila Staniszewska and Berkley Darr, 6-7, but held off two-straight match points to force a tiebreaker. The Bluejay duo won the tiebreaker 7-2 to earn the Flight A title.
Darby Rosette and Kendra Lavallee claimed the Doubles Flight B Consolation championship with an 8-6 win over Nebraska-Omaha's Michelle Walker and Emily Behling.
