LINCOLN, Neb. -- Incoming Creighton men's tennis freshmen Stratton Brown and Joe Hoff paired up to win the Men's Doubles draw of the ITA Summer Circuit hosted by the University of Nebraska at the Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln, Neb. this past weekend (July 8-9).
Brown and Hoff -- the No. 3 seed -- defeated the top-seeded duo of Jonas Larsen and Jason Kerst from the University of Iowa 8-7 to claim the championship on Sunday afternoon.
The future first-year Bluejays also needed a tiebreaker win during the semifinal round to advance into the championship match.
