OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's and women's cross country teams kicked off their 2019 seasons on Saturday with a dual meet against Drake, at the Skutt Catholic Athletic Complex. It marked the first home meet for the Bluejay program since the 2012 season.
The Bluejay women team took home the team title scoring 23 points, while Drake scored 32 points as a team.
Sophomore Danielle Hotalling took home the individual title, completing the 4,000-meter course in 14:03.96. Right behind her in second place was freshman Jordan Harmon, who finished her debut in 14:12.
