Heinrich Ties School Record with Four Goals in 5-2 Win Over Eastern Michigan

Omaha, Neb. – Freshman Skylar Heinrich equaled a school record with four goals to lift Creighton's women soccer to a 5-2 win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Morrison Stadium.

With the win Creighton moves to 4-1-0 on the season, while Eastern Michigan drops to 1-3-1 overall.

Heinrich became the first freshman to complete a hat-trick since Brittney Neumann did so back in 2009 against South Dakota on Aug. 28, being the first do so in the a single half. She also became the first Bluejay to score four goals in a match since Krystle Campa touched the back of the net four times in a contest against Belmont on Oct.
