NEW ORLEANS (April 3, 2022) – After three days of intense 3-on-3 competition, Team Big East/A-10, comprised of UConn's RJ Cole and Tyrese Martin, Creighton's Ryan Hawkins, and George Mason's D'Shawn Schwartz, took home the $50,000 grand prize after defeating Team American/C-USA in the championship game of the Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship on Sunday afternoon in front of a standing room only crowd at The Sugar Mill in New Orleans and an ESPN2 national TV audience.
Hawkins was named the Tournament's MVP after recording six points, all from behind the arc, along with four assists and two rebounds in the final.
