Omaha, Neb. -- Locked in a physical battle with Seton Hall, the Creighton women's basketball team returned to their roots as the Bluejays 'Let it Fly' with 10 of their 16 three-pointers in the second half to pull away and claim the 78-66 win over the Pirates on Sunday, Feb. 16th.
The win pushed the Bluejays to 16-9 on the season and 8-6 in BIG EAST action, while Seton Hall fell to 16-10 overall and 9-6 in conference play.
The Bluejays return to the hardwood on Friday, Feb. 21st as Creighton faces Butler in Indianapolis at 6:00 pm (CT).
