Fourth Quarter Comeback Sees Women's Basketball Cool Down Sun Devils

OMAHA, Neb. -- Carly Bachelor had a career-high 23 points and Creighton overcame a seven points deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Arizona State 69-62 in a battle of top-50 NET teams on Sunday afternoon inside D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha.

Creighton improved to 6-0 at home and 6-2 overall (2-0 BIG EAST) this season while Arizona State dropped to 5-5.

Creighton controlled the first half as Bluejay sophomore Emma Ronsiek scored the first seven points of the game and CU led 16-9 after one quarter. Carly Bachelor scored eight points in the second quarter as the Bluejays maintained their seven point edge and took a 29-22 lead into the break.
