OMAHA, Neb. — Four greats highlight the 2023 class for the Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame, McCormick Endowed Athletic Director Marcus Blossom announced on Thursday, September 21st. Fabian Herbers, Marissa (Janning) Murphy, Christina Lunceford and Dave Schrage comprise the 55th Hall of Fame class in school history, and matches the largest induction group of individuals ever.
The group will give the Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame 98 inductees, plus the 1991 Creighton Baseball Team. The Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame started in 1968 with the induction of Bluejay great Bob Gibson.
Fabian Herbers, Men's Soccer, 2013-15
Two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-American Fabian Herbers scored 28 goals and dished 29 assists while leading Creighton to the NCAA Tournament in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
