OMAHA, Neb. — Fabian Herbers, Marissa (Janning) Murphy, Dr. Christina Lunceford and Dave Schrage were inducted into the Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday as part of the 55th class in school history. The ceremony took place inside Steelhouse Omaha.
It matches the largest induction group of individuals ever. The group gives the Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame 98 inductees, plus the 1991 Creighton Baseball Team. The Creighton Athletics Hall of Fame started in 1968 with the induction of Bluejay great Bob Gibson.
Fabian Herbers, Men's Soccer, 2013-15
Two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-American Fabian Herbers scored 28 goals and dished 29 assists while leading Creighton to the NCAA Tournament in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
