Four Bluejays Selected in the MLB Draft, Most Since 2006

Omaha, Neb. -- A quartet of Creighton Baseball players were selected on the third day of the 2018 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft on Wednesday, June 6.

Leading the way for Creighton was junior Michael Emodi, selected in the 11th round by the Kansas City Royals with the 332nd pick. The next Bluejay selected was senior Ryan Tapani, taken by the Washington Nationals in the 21st round with the 641st pick. Two juniors rounded out Creighton's four players taken as Jacob Voss went to the Los Angeles Angels in hte 27th round (811th pick) and Clark Brinkman was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 32nd round with the 945th selection.
