OMAHA, Neb. -- Marcus Foster scored 23 points in just 18 minutes of action as Creighton pummeled Alcorn State, 109-72 to win their second straight game to start the season Sunday night.
The game is part of the Hall of Fame Classic tournament as are Creighton's games with UCLA and against Baylor or Wisconsin at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
Alcorn State dropped its second game after falling to LSU in its opener, 99-59. The Braves jumped to a 5-0 lead, but the Bluejays took the lead for good on Foster's 3-pointer five minutes in and by halftime extended it to 13, 49-36.
