Omaha, Neb. -- During the summer of 2022, Creighton men's soccer junior Duncan McGuire began a journey that would exceed the dreams of himself, his coaches, teammates and soccer players throughout the country.
Another cherry was added this week as McGuire was nominated for the 2023 ESPY for Best College Athlete in Men's Sports. McGuire is just the second Creighton athlete in school history to be nominated for an ESPY, joining Doug McDermott who won the Best College Athlete in Men's Sports award in 2014.
