Omaha, Neb. -- While the recent rainfall has melted away most of the snow in Omaha, the field of TD Ameritrade Park Omaha will not be ready for the Creighton Baseball to open its home season on March 20th against South Dakota State, nor to host Maryland from March 22-24th. The game with the Jackrabbits will be rescheduled later this season, although a date has not yet been confirmed. The series with Maryland has been moved to College Park, Md. The two teams had previously agreed to play a home-and-home series. That will continue with Creighton going to Maryland this season and the Terrapins returning to Omaha in the future.
