SPRINGFIELD, Mass.. -- Eddie Sutton, a former Creighton basketball head coach and athletic director, was today announced as part of the Class of 2020 that will be enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Sutton and the rest of the 2020 class will be celebrated August 28-30, 2020 during this year's Enshrinement festivities in Springfield, Mass. The Class Announcement was televised live on ESPN, and presented by Fifty-Five South Ventures.
Sutton got his start at the Division I level at Creighton from 1969-74, where he served as the school's men's basketball head coach and athletic director.
