OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton sophomore Emma Rosonke earned BIG EAST Softball Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Rosonke continued her dominance at the plate, collected 12 RBI over the three-game weekend to extend her league-leading total out to 33 RBI on the season. The Omaha native finished the series with a .444 batting average (4-of-9) with a pair of three-run home runs and a grand slam.
She started the weekend by going 2-for-2 with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth to power the Jays to a 10-0 run-rule win.
