NEW YORK – Creighton's Eleanor Hudepohl shared BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week honors after opening the spring season with a victory at the Motor City Classic on Feb. 7. Hudepohl split the accolade with Seton Hall's Ludovica Busetto.
Hudepohl overcame a two-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to win the Motor City Classic in Orlando, Fla. Hudepohl's one-stroke victory helped the Bluejays finish second in the team's first tournament of the spring. Hudepohl had a three-round total of 223 to top the field of 36 golfers. She opened with a 1-under 71 on Sunday and followed it with a 78 in the second round to fall into a tie for third place, before a closing 74.
