Omaha, Neb. -- Blazing out to a 12-1 lead by the sixth inning, Creighton Baseball coasted to a 12-7 victory over Evansville on Sunday, April 1 as the Bluejays swept the Aces.
Creighton moved to 16-6 with the victory, while Evansville fell to 6-15 overall. It was Creighton's sixth straight win, the Bluejays' longest winning streak of the season. In 2016, the Bluejays put together an 11-game winning streak from April 8 - 28.
The Bluejays return to the diamond on Tuesday, April 3 as Creighton travels to Lawrence, Kansas to battle the Jayhawks at 6:00 pm (CT).
