OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's soccer senior forward Diego Gutierrez earned the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year award, while a total of five Bluejays made the all-conference teams, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon, prior to the BIG EAST Championship Presented by JEEP. In addition to his individual award, Gutierrez made the All-BIG EAST First Team, while Charles Auguste, Duncan McGuire, Musa Qongo and Callum Watson each made the All-BIG EAST Second Team.
During his first season with the Bluejays, Gutierrez tied for the BIG EAST lead with 16 points from five goals and six assists during regular season play.
