GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Freshman Annie Dawson's seventh-place finish led the Creighton Women's Golf team to a third place showing at the Lady Bison Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., on Tuesday.
The Phoenix, Ariz.,. product was the first round leader after a 1-under 70 in Monday's initial round before following that up with loops of 79 and 77. It's the second strong performance in a row for the Bluejay rookie, as she had finished 13th at the Islander Classic.
Sophomore Annika Yturralde surged up the leaderboard during Tuesday's final round, climbing from 21st to 13th after tournament scores of 77, 78 and 74 for a 229 aggregate.
