The Creighton Athletic Department before the season committed to renovating what was once the University of Nebraska-Omaha Hockey locker room. In 2015, UNO Hockey moved to Baxter Arena.
“The goal was to have the locker room completed for this 2017-18 Men’s Basketball season,” said Creighton Athletics Development Director, Lauren Miltenberger. “The team saw the locker room for the first time as a group on Nov. 1.”
Some of the biggest changes include a significant increase of space from the old locker room. The previous locker room had much smaller space and athletic training room, as well as a smaller coaches room that’s commonly called the “war room.
