PEORIA, Ill. -- Both the Creighton men's and women's cross country teams placed 18th at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, Oct. 18. The meet at Newman Golf Course was the final tune-up for both squads before the BIG EAST Championships in two weeks.
John Quigley topped the Bluejay men in the Red race, which was 8,000 meters. The sophomore finished in 47th place with a time of 25:19.8, making him the 14th-fastest Creighton runner ever on an 8K course. Freshman Danny Bohnemann was 78th with a 25:50.6 clocking, more than 90 seconds faster than each of his previous 8K finishes this fall.
