BRONX, N.Y. -- Both the Creighton men's and women's cross country teams finished in seventh place at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships presented by Jeep, contested Friday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.
The Georgetown men and the Providence women repeated as the winners of the team titles. The Hoya men placed six runners among the top 12 finishers. The Friar women had four runners finish among the top eight competitors.
Villanova had both individual winners. Senior Patrick Tiernan set a BIG EAST record with his fourth consecutive individual championship in the men's 8K race.
