Omaha, Neb. -- This academic year marks the 23rd year that Rob Anderson has served as sports information director at Creighton.
He joined the BIG EAST Conference school, located in Omaha, Neb., in December of 2001. He is the Bluejays' primary contact for men's basketball, volleyball, cross country and golf, and has had great success in promoting numerous athletes for national, regional and conference awards. This includes coordinating all publicity efforts for men's basketball standout Doug McDermott, the first basketball player in CU history to earn First Team All-America honors from the USBWA, AP and NABC and who swept all 14 National Player of the Year awards and also appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
