“We’ve got to get going,” Creighton coach Ed Servais said. “We got to keep going, we’ve got a chance to have a special season here, so we have to keep going.”

The Jays fell behind early, 4-0, against South Dakota State (7-20, 5-5 Summit League) on Tuesday night. Junior shortstop Jack Strunc led the comeback with a two-run homer in the fourth inning and a five run fifth inning gave the Jays the lead for good, eventually winning the game 9-4. Sophomore right fielder had two RBIs and freshman pitcher Ian Evans provided three and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief.
