Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Baseball squad officially began the 2017 season today, Jan. 27, as the Bluejays opened their first practice of the spring at the Rasmussen Center.
Under the guidance Servais, Creighton has become known for strong pitching and impeccable defense. That combination has led the Bluejays to three consecutive
appearances in the BIG EAST Tournament championship game.
For the second time in three seasons, the Bluejays will play host to the BIG EAST Tournament in TD Ameritrade Park Omaha this May.
To return to the championship series, Servais will need to teach the importance of defensive to virtually an entire new group as the only returning starter is sophomore catcher Michael Emodi.
