In 2016, the Volleyball program captured their third consecutive BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles after going a perfect 18-0 in regular-season conference play. The program made its second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance and advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.
This season, the Women's Basketball program clinched a share of their first BIG EAST regular-season title and completed regular-season conference play with a 22-6 overall record. Headed towards their 10th straight postseason appearance, the program is looking to capture their first BIG EAST Conference Tournament title and compete in the NCAA tournament.
