OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's soccer junior midfielder Charles Auguste earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of Year, while Nathan Schnur claimed BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Auguste recorded three points with a goal and an assist during the Bluejays' 3-0 victory over Xavier on Wednesday. The junior had an assist on the game-winning goal and scored Creighton's second goal of the match. Auguste ranks second on the team with six points from two goals and two assists this year.
Schnur recorded his first shutout of the year against the Musketeers.
