PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Shaun Campbell shot an 8-under 205 at the GCU Invitational to lead Creighton men's golf to a ninth-place finish on Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz.
Campbell compiled rounds of 71, 66 and 68 to take fourth in the field of 93 competitors. His 66 was a season-low round and tied the best of his Bluejay career. It also matched the best loop by any Creighton player this season. Including his performance this week in the desert, the senior from New Zealand has now shot par or better in 29-of-63 rounds as a Bluejay.
