BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Freshman Nick Campbell claimed the Fight A Singles championship as the Creighton men's tennis team completed its weekend trip to Illinois State University for the Redbird Invitational on Sunday at the Bloomington Tennis Center.
Overall, the Bluejays ended the invitational with a 23-12 record in singles and doubles action.
Campbell defeated DePaul's Chris Casati in straight-sets on Sunday to claim the crown in the top flight. The Cyprus native, held off three set points during a tiebreaker to win the first set (7-6). He ended the match with a 6-4 victory during the second frame.
